The sweet corn is up and fresh deer tracks have been spotted just along my drive several times in the last two weeks. Nary a nibble of the produce so far, other than insectivorous kind.
Living the life of gardening high on the low spot of a North Carolina mountaintop.
I say go for a festive color. Maybe it will disorient the deer!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking along the same lines as Cindy. I think you need a nice shot of color there with all the brown (mulch) and green (plants).
ReplyDeleteI like the natural color on bamboo bean poles. Once the pole beans climb them, you can't see them, anyway!

ReplyDeleteOh dear. How long can that last?
Oh deer indeed.
ReplyDeleteI was looking at luminescent paint online. It is basically clear during the day and glows at night. Wouldn't that be trippy to night time drivers! Very expensive though.
I like the natural color, and you could always put a silver streamer on the top to blow around and scare the deer. (Or attract them to your "sales promo" :)
