Did I wander
Just outside
And around the corner
That's all
The slow reconstruction
Is a consuming distraction
Now ready for the sub-floor
Tomorrow white tiles
In the other outhouse
Will get me past the artichokes
And beyond the blueberries
To a space with more elbow room
Perhaps then the new old kink in my back
Acquired today from slow cramped contortions
Will become unstuck.
