Urban Chickens And Other Frivolities

I went for a short stroll through downtown Asheville while perusing some venues for an event next spring and actually managed to buy a gift for the season of giving.

Yes, once upon a time chickens were sold just like this from this very building.

It hurts just a little because it rings a bit true.

    I can't resist a good chicken picture. Looks like Dominiques, the classic American heritage chicken. Are those random letters, or do they say something?
