  1. The blue is exquisite, playing solo. After the rambunctious asters earlier, this is is a fine grace note.

  4. Love the blue. I'm proud of my surprise even if it is a weed.

  5. It was a surprise on the walk with kitties today. It is either a newly planted fall crocus or a recently divided saffron crocus. It was grace that lead me to it.

  8. Does a crocus have to be a certain age before it has saffron?

  9. According to Google Saffron Crocus blooms in the Fall only. The Saffron is the red string looking things in the middle of the bloom.

  10. I noticed on my walk yesterday, that my Flowering Quince and my Forsythia have blooms on them here and there. I am worried that this warm weather after the cold spell has them all mixed up. I hope those were not buds that I saw on my peach trees. Crazy weather we have these days.
