The fact that that is getting easier to do gives me the feeling my decrepitude is sneaking up on me.
I made a list of things that need doing and did none of them. They can wait for a day without rain.
The major projects are finished.
The garden drinks in and rests while I do nothing.
You deserve some rest. Don't feel guilty. Sit back and enjoy your hard labor.
ReplyDeleteLisa by this time in the year my body certainly needs a break. I should have the clients all tucked in by the end of the month.
ReplyDeleteI always feel guilty when I do nothing, which is ridiculous of course. But a do-nothing day often prompts more energy in the following days, so it's worth it. And a rainy day is a good excuse!
