The Life I lead

Of a gardener
Is naturally filled

Each moment of sunlight
Productive
If only in observation

I finish as the sun slips away
The timing is perfect

Yes, and if we get a little blogging in, life is truly good! I found your blog through Frances's. You sure have plenty to keep you busy! Your land is beautiful, as is your sky.

Are you near the Blue Ridge Parkway? My husband and I drove from our home in Nebraska to the Outer Banks of North Carolina June of 2007. We drove through Kentucky to see the area where his maternal grandfather lived as a boy. We then went through the Smokey Mountain National Park, and part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was foggy, so we stopped in Asheville for the night.

I remember seeing day lilies from the highways while on that trip.

"Hope Never Dies Within a True Gardener's Heart". That is why we continue to garden without a thought. It makes us happy & content.

A gardener's work is never done. Lucky for you that you get that gorgeous sunset at the end of your hard working day! :)
