On The Fourth Day Of May

The waters rose to the firepit bindi.

Culvert Falls thundered.

In low light and added vibration, my Monet eyes return in pixels.

Click on a picture anytime for the slide show. They often look better that way.

I drove home in a blackout rain.

It was really a flash flood.

About three inches

In an hour.

Ku'ulei 'Aina absorbed the impact.

As it has always done.

The garden calmed it down.

The waters followed the Snake in the Grass.

And flowed beyond.

Past the vanishing Under Garden

The water swiped strips above are not visible in the Lush.

The Lush calmed it down. It was absorbed.

Perfectly.

All the way to the firepit bindi.

It was absorbed.

Perfectly into the ever changing Creation.

I am glad there was no damage. It sounds like you had a real gully washer.
