I spent the remainder of last night and most of the morning playing chess with modern technology. The 203 photos from the West Asheville Garden Stroll loaded onto the computer in a complete disarray, out of the order I took them in. I have no idea why that happens sometimes. It is most annoying when you take more than one picture of each scene and want to pick the best one. Throw in the fifteen gardens that were visited and editing and sorting through them out of order was going to be a real pain. It is so much easier when they are in line side by side.
I tried about five times to fix that by reloading the pictures, using a different photo editor, then deleting them completely and starting over, all to no avail.
I lost the game of chess with modern technology.
Just when I thought I had it, they were loading in order, all done. Aargh!!! No the file is still in a total disarray.
What's that button? Sort? Hmmm? Click. By Manual Order. Click. Aaargh!!! They are in order now, thank you so very much. I could have saved myself a lot of work with a little checker's jump. They are in order backwards, but that is good enough. Now I can begin going through 203 pictures.

and computers are supposed to be time-savers. Ugh.

Bev at least it made me physically rest.
Whatever order they show up in, we look forward to seeing them.
Looking forward to seeing the gardens. You are teasing us with that one shot! :)
Sort by date should have done it. I have had those kind of days way too often.
Boy, that was a lot of pics. Glad you got them into some order.
That sure is a calming garden.
I like to see laundry on the line, so homey looking.
Can't wait to see more.
