A Place To Pray

What will be left in 200 years? Can you design a garden that will last that long? Most certainly not in this current form of a temperate rain forest. You can intentionally leave something for the future archeologists. You can imagine leaving a place to pray for humans of the future. It is part of the earth who we are.

Click on a picture for the slide show. There may come a time when we will need to remember how the earth once could be.

I want that stand of Iron Weed. Your bottle trail is interesting.

Beautiful, Christoper. What are the two grasses in photo 6?

Hi Daisy. The grass in the foreground is variegated Feather Reed Grass. In the back is Miscanthus 'Morning Light'.

Which coneflower is that?

Sallysmom I'd have to go with regular Echinacea purpurea since they are seed and self sown and occur randomly through out.
