Full Circle

Over the years I have been back many times before.

This time venturing into Florida feels different.

Landing in North Carolina was some how incomplete, like I hadn't quite gotten there yet. Still a certain dread exists. A large part of me never wanted to go home.

Hopefully this is part of the process that makes North Carolina my new home.

LOL! When I saw there was a comment, I figured it was some poignant remark from Annie or Carol or Pam. So much for that!

I love flying into SFO after a trip to anywhere. The overwhelming feeling of *coming home* is very satisfying.

Once you get this cabin built and that garden a-growin' you're going to settle right in. You already know a lot about how your new area works, and that's half of it.

Leave home for only minute and the spammers come out. How rude. At least they are local spammers.

Wait...poignant? Not witty or insightful? Geez, I need to rethink all of this.

While we're going through different things - and differently, I think I understand the overwhelming feeling of change all around. I'm beginning to feel oddly homeless.

This time the poignant remark came from Chuck, instead, and he seems to have good advice, Christopher. It might feel like coming home when you put on that long underwear to come back to NC from FL.

I like the full circle analogy and understand why you left paradise to have your own slice of land to craft your own garden, but after my recent trip to Kauai I am thinking that I might have to move there to create my own circle.
Thinking of my own round about path, a return to New England to live ? ( the beginning of my circle ) ... I think not ever. That's where I'd like to break the chain.
I don't mind visiting New England and our family cottage on Cape Cod but I don't think I would ever want to live there again.
Snow is a four letter word and frost is not that much better.
