Linger

Gratefully fall lingers.
The next wave of cold
Merely repeats
The previous low.

Sentinels to a past
Stand tall and firm.
Logging or fires
Separately or both
For certain
More than thirty years
Have passed.

Slowly living sculptures
Linger.

There is a fascination
In the co-existence and co-operation
For resources
That has existed
Before we became man.
Even time is shared.

Some mythology
Speaks to this
Still.

The Current View from My Temporary Window

Will Linger in My Memory.

Beautiful pictures, beautiful words. Hopefully this beautiful weather we are enjoying will linger for awhile longer...
