Has it Snowed Yet?

What is this stuff? It's coming down thicker and the tiny pellets are growing larger.

Last night's rain and leaf collection in the bed of my truck. Will the extra weight help with traction on frozen roads?

Must it be a flake before it is called snow?

Or is this just snow like?

I'd go for snow-like from the looks of it! Also, I've heard pickup trucks are terrible in snow; we have one about to face its first winter, so we shall see.....

When I bought new tires for my truck in Seattle with better deeper treads I mentioned it should be better in the snow and I got laughed at. My mechanic on Maui who has mainland experience suggested new tires and an old truck tire innertube cut in half, filled with sand and placed around the wheel wells in the truck bed.

Now where do I get an old innertube?

Yah, that's a stumper about the innertube. My brother outside of Spokane, Wash (much snow) says they sell these long tube things full of sand for just where you described. I've never seen them in the east. We'll have to improvise!

I'd say that's drizzle baby...or "drizzle fo' schizzel", y'all! ;-)
