Left Out

The show of the 10,000 Daffodils continues. These views of sections of the hillside don't do it justice. In person the color of the flowers is more pronounced, more eye catching.

New kinds keep showing up. After all that yellow this creamy white Daffodil is very appealing.

Even a pale yellow chiffon gets a high score in attractiveness.

This coral orange, salmony color is apparently called pink in the Daffodil world.

This would be orange.

In a sea of Daffodils I am sure to have missed a few varieties.

Perhaps just a few more days to the peak? I still see more opening it seems, than those withering and closing for the season.

As the hundreds of Hosta begin to emerge, the Daylilies, Astilbe, Alliums, Peonies and Pulmonaria assert themselves and claim space, I can see that there is likely indeed, plenty of room for more Daffodils.

Well, you should only add fragrant varieties if none of these are fragrant.

I think those whites are appealing too!

I know there are fragrant ones here now, at least by catalog descriptions. I just can't smell them in all this fresh air.
