The 2016 West Asheville Garden Stroll

Another successful West Asheville Garden Stroll is in the history books. It was a beautiful day if a touch too warm with fourteen open gardens in the always interesting neighborhoods of West Asheville. A photo album of the stroll is now complete.

Google just killed Picasa web albums so I had to learn a whole new route to make this album. They did not improve the product at all. I can only hope it is still a work in progress.

Thank you so much for the tour! I loved all the gardens that were shown. Such creative thought in those gardens! Hugs, Jane

Thanks for the great pictures! Were those passion fruit that you snapped? Was there more than one vine growing?

Yes Marsha that was Passion Fruit or Maypop. Lilikoi to me. I only saw the one vine, asked and was told it wasn't a good eating kind.

What fun. I loved the people on stilts with their big flower headdresses. They really set the tone. So many fun accents and creative ways to recycle objects.

Lisa the stilt walkers are The Faerie Kin, a truly magical performing group. https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=the%20faerie%20kin

Art in these gardens is always plentiful. You can't see it all in one visit.
