The Week Gone By

The Sisters have come and gone.

My days were spent working.

One day it involved planting a Viburnum pragense and Hamamelis x intermedia 'Jelena' by the chimney.

My evenings were spent dining and watching movies.

There was rain at the right time and in the right amounts for the new plants.

Mostly it was a perfect week of fall weathers post snow.

Color was thin but quite vibrant.

Every fall is unique.

And in my travels I see it in many combinations.

No matter the particulars, the fadeout is pretty amazing to watch.

I had some quality front porch sitting time.

Always the last tree in the forest is doing its thing.

The Kousa Dogwood is another that turns late.

In a forest thinning

Close to the end of fall.

Good to see that you survived the visit. It still looks beautiful around you.

Lisa the visit was quite enjoyable. The work I did on Saturday after an already full week about killed me.
