A Forced March

The sun was shining bright. There was no wind at all, not even much traffic on the scenic byway. Yes, it was only eighteen degrees. Too bad.

They have been cooped up and conked out for far too long. It was time for a long walk.

Miss Collar is not near as much of a cold wimp as the siblings. She has been out walking with me alone when the siblings refused to step outside. She was happy to go for a stroll.

So off we went.

Into the cold

Past the patch, over the river, into the woods we strode.

To grandmother's house we go. Where I booted them out once more.

But it was cold out. Even I didn't want to linger. And we all marched back home.

That was cute. Not too much of the white stuff. Didn't get as cold here as predicted.
