A mountain top garden overflowing with phacelia what else would you see?
Our visitors on Sunday and Monday would have seen rhododendron and iris mixed in with the phacelia.
Lorelei iris was in its prime.
Dashes of wildflowers had started to bloom.
There was more iris, viburnum and Dame's Rocket about.
Viburnum that's all I know. I'm sure it would be easy to properly ID if I took the time.
Hundreds of hosta and drifts of the blooming False Solomon's Seal with Columbine sprinkled throughout.
The visitors would have seen massive quantities of the Lorelei iris in bloom.
And the very first Peony.
Rhododendrons that towered over their heads.
In a mountain top garden over flowing with phacelia, a place where the wild geraniums grow.
Just some of what our visitors saw.

Thank you for giving us the Memorial Day Tour! Love the vibinum, not sure if I spelled it correctly. My peonies are almost gone as are the iris.
Beautiful as always.
Sad to have missed it - but happy for the pictorial tour :)
That would have been a delight to walk
the paths and see those beautiful flowers.
I totally agree with Gail. Awesome. Thanks so much for the tour.
I can tell you all is was a delight to walk those paths on Sunday and see the amazing array of flowers, plants and trees. Both Chris and I learned so much and enjoyed every minute Outside Clyde. It was a special treat to meet Bulbarella and see her beautiful garden. Then Button led us for the final leg of the tour back to the house. Thanks again Christopher for a unforgettable day.
Do you still have Brodiaea growing there or has it been swallowed up?
