Galanthus nivalis
A warm day and the snowdrops have opened. The daffodils are largely still in hiding. This will have to do for now.

My snowdrops popped up since the snow melted. Yippeeee.....
They are beautiful!
This is marvelous. Here I am with glaciers all around, and you with snowdrops. It actually makes winter seem that much easier to cope with, knowing spring is slowly wending its way north-east...
Yippee for sure Lisa!
They are really ccute and tiny, Siri. Not much more than six inches tall.
Jodi, I think slooww is the operative word this spring.
I agree, beautiful. My snowdrops started blooming almost a month ago. The ones in the sun, now the ones in the shade are starting so I have a long period of those pretty blooms. Buttercups are another story. I have one that looks like it will open soon.
Life in the woods! Hooray!
