To This
On a Mac
With iphoto. It is a whole new world.
Where Buttercup Trees bloom.
Where the foliage is lush and bold in the depths of winter.
Where baby gardens grow fast.
Where the setting sun recedes into a deep blue sea instead of the undulating blue ridge.
Pinch me. I am back on Maui.

You lucky duck. It is gorgeous there. I hope you get the most of your R&R. It will be difficult to go home I am afraid.
After the winter you have been through, you deserve some tropical sun.
That's just gloating. ;-)
Hoooray, you're safe & sound.
The pics are gorgeous. It's looks so serene.
I can see the happiness in your writing.
Waiting for more pics.
Enjoy to the max.
Just delightful. The Buttercup tree is amazing.
You needed a break from all that snow. Isn't it wonderful to see colors again?
It is breathtakingly beautiful! Enjoy a much needed reprieve from all the snow and work.
Hey Chris, Ride a wave for me! Patrick
Three weeks from today I'll be packing my suitcase.
Can. Not. Wait.
Are your legs whiter than the snows of North Carolina?
We've seen that Buttercup tree before! It looks beautiful - hope your trip is wonderful, Christopher.
Lisa I think I'll make it back to NC just fine. This is sure nice though.
Les after the last two winters and this years Siberia, I do deserve a break.
Maybe just a little gloating Kitty.
Lola it was an uneventful trip, the perfect kind. The snow was just beginning to fall when the plane took off in Knoxville.
Sweetbay the Buttercup is an amazing tree. Cochlospermum vitifolium, the double flowered form.
MMGD the warm is more shocking almost than the lush green and wild colors.
Siria this is another land of "The View."
Patrick I should make it to the beach at least once while I am here.
Chuck, to bad I couldn't have met you on Maui. All of me is whiter than it has been in two decades and was commented upon when I went to my former grocery store today.
Thanks Annie. Just being here in time to see the last few Buttercup blossoms filled my heart with glee.
I agree with Les, you deserve to be there. So funny about the pale skin too. Don't get sunburned, but have a wonderful terrific time. Things have warmed up just a smidge here, since the sun came out. You might return to flowers. :-)
Frances
Boy, you are certainly not on the mountaintop anymore! Just gorgeous. I love some of those trees in the next post - with the distinct branching pattern - they're really striking.
Hope you are having a blast!
Ahhh....exhale! The pictures and views are great for me to see this time of year, I can only imagine how great it feels! Have a fantastic visit!
