Into The Garden

They are here.

We have wandered into the gardens.

Went to have a look at my 401k. Now is when I collect the interest for reinvestment.

The ridge top garden is even putting on quite the show.

This is my favorite Goldenrod. It will bloom in shadier conditions and I like the flower arrangement close in to the leaf axils. I have no idea what species it may be.

The end of season anemones are in bloom.

Along with the Great Blue Lobelia and Black Eyed Susan.

There is a lot more going on than just the Tall Flower Meadow in full and glorious bloom.

I've even spent a little time with the sunset view.

HA, your 401K looks quite healthy. (I get it.) The whole garden looks amazing, but the sunset is sublime. I hope the sisters and Bulbarella are enjoying it all. xo

Despite a wasp sting on Sister #1 and a dab of Poisoned Ivy on Sister #2 they seem to be liking it. The tomatoes and butternut squash have gotten rave reviews. They are even ignoring the heat wave with highs in the low 80's. It is a bit warm, but my okra is finally setting okra, enough for a small side dish.
