Vitex agnus-castus

A busy life is starting to interfere with regular blogging. Such is the way things go.

I did see a huge and gorgeous Chaste Tree in full bloom while in West Asheville finishing up the garden sites selection for the upcoming stroll in September. I thought it would be fun to preview potential gardens for the stroll. And it is. It just involves more work than I thought and somehow I ended up as leader of the team. Perhaps I am bit too opinionated.

That is a beauty. We saw one in the River Arts district this weekend, a lovely specimen. Just do what you can, Christopher. It's all any of us can do.

Beautiful tree.
Not to fear we will be here when you have time. Hard work has it's rewards. I think your opinion is right on. It will come through.

I would much rather read fewer posts because you are working, than more posts because you are tragically underemployed. Your new life is coming together after a long wait, congrats, working stiff! (:

My gardening friend pulled out her Vitex due to seeding. but they are beautiful, no joke.
