Is all it takes.
The garden is ready to grow when the conditions feel right.
We have ignition. It is a slow one, but that will do.
After the snowdrops, the crocus are next in line.
Yellow crocus are one of the earliest. There are plenty more. Many of which I have not seen.
'Arnold's Promise' has initiated its flowering sequence. I think it was a little stingy with bud set last year like 'Diane'. All the Witch hazels are not much more than twigs. Blooming at that size is a good sign.
The snowdrops steadfastly keep on despite repeated frozen burials.
A little warmth and sunshine melts my side of the scenic byway. What a difference a shadow makes.

A little warmth & sunshine works wonders. Who is that sitting on your path?
Lola that is Miss Dinah my mom's kitty who spends the winter with me, her brother Button and Miss Collar.
I am ready to see some crocus here. I haven't had that delight yet. Lucky you.
Can't see that good is reason for asking.
My Arnold Promise always blooms before Christmas.
