I'm trying to get into the zen of being one with the stones, to patiently stack the new wall, to let it rise at its own pace, but I sure will be excited when I will be able to see it over the top of the first wall. Not there yet.
It creeps higher.
It does not leap. All the fetching slows things down.
There is still a lot of work to do.
"Ohhhh noooooooooooooo ..."

Wow you are making headway. That is a long line of stones stacked. Remember, no sore back muscles.
It looks like a wood spirit had a hard night out with those red eyes and mouth.
Those red eyeballs are creeping me out! lol.
That looks like a lot of progress to me, given the amount of stones you've had to move. You're looking at the wall every time you bring a stone back for placement, so you probably just don't "see" it rising fast enough, you know?
It's looking good, though.
I want to put pupils in those eyes.
Do we have an ID yet?
(If I'm so hot for an ID why don't I find one for myself? Some people have walls to build.)
If you're not one with the stones yet, you may never be. I would think you are dreaming of stone locating, selecting, cleaning and stacking every night. An immersion of stone.

My friend Deb ID'd the red eyeballs as Scarlet Elf Cup, Sarcoscypha austriaca.
My impatient side shows through in the wanting the wall done NOW. I'm cool with the pace and progress though.
