The Long Days

Are suspiciously short of time as if it has grown wings and flies away from the moment the sun rises.

The rush is on to make full use of the long days. There is no time to savor the long time of days.

The time is used to make long spurs.

While there is time.

I know what you mean. It seems that summer may bring more daylight, but there's always more to do. And we're still in spring, officially.

What kind of columbine is that? I need to add some reds to my yard.

That is for sure. No trouble sleeping this time of year. All of that outside work and fresh air.

I think you're a poet and don't know it. Nice post.

Chris, your post title and first line are absolutely the truth! Gosh, there needs to be some way to hit the "slow down" button.

It's good to have a fast pace at times. I think it keeps the motor going in one's soul. And it does cause for more complete rests. Such is the enjoyment of life.
Your garden looks fine & I'm sure Uncle Ernie doesn't mind. He did look a bit forlorn when nothing to watch except the busy comings & goings of the busy scenic highway.
