Living the life of gardening high on the low spot of a
North Carolina mountaintop.
Hi Christopher ~ your pictures are beautiful! It has been a glorious few days with spectacular weather. Yes, thank goodness it is still Autumn!
Siria there has been a lot of this great fall weather. Today I wake to another lovely day for company, then what looks like a week of rain ahead.
Christopher: It looks like the color has finally moved south. I was in Marion last weekend taking pictures at Lake Tahoma and very disappointed with the color. Was up at Meadows of Dan yesterday and was extremely surprised to see hardly anyone on the Parkway and yet lots of color left.Have all the tourists come your way?
Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous. Can't get too much.
Hi Karen. I don't know about the parkway, but I have seen plenty of leaf peepers on the scenic byway. I can tell. They drive slower and some of them have stopped at my driveway to take pictures.Lola it has been gorgeous. It is calming just to walk outside in this soon to end wonderful weather with all this fall color.
Love that house in the "holler". Do you know the residents? It looks like a good place to have a home.
Lola that house is so far from the road it is hard to tell if it is a house or farm building. No idea who owns it.
