The Green Trees

The trees here are naked for six months of the year. The return of green trees is a major event.

For my birthday/wedding anniversary, I requested from my husband that we'd go to North Carolina in the fall. This photo definitely clinched the plan, although I imagine all those trees having shifted to the other end of the spectrum by then.

Siria we are having a very rainy Sunday. I did manage to get into my utility meadow for some elimination of undesirables for a while, then back to the view from inside.

Indeed Bev.

Brieannon, the second half of October is usually peak fall color time in my neck of the woods. If your husband needs some enticement you can look in my October archives. The beautiful colors of fall are there.

Six months of bare trees is a long time indeed. I bet spring feels good when it comes.
