A garden grows

A perennial flower bed stretches way down the road for passerby and neighbors to admire.

But any good gardener always needs more. As the flower bed ran down the road, the adjoining steep slope got closer to the road and the bed got narrower making for a pretty skinny bed at the far end. That was solved with a new tie retaining wall to make the entire length of the bed a more uniform width.

Now there is room for more flowers and more roses. All the perennials that were dug for the construction have been safely replanted. The bed was prepared and planning has begun for more.

More flowers like this that will bloom from spring until fall.
