As Winter Returns

The cold has arrived. It is soon to be followed by more rain, possibly snow and continuing cold. Winter is not done. The progression of the bulbs continues despite any inconveniences. There has already been an inordinate number of sightings of crocus this year.

The first of the chionodoxa have arrived in time for winter's return.

A few brave daffodils have begun to bloom.

Depending on the weathers these brave beginners could survive unscathed or be turned to tattered mush. Good thing there are thousands upon thousands more bulbs waiting in the chill winds.
