Quickly Before Spring

I am sensing some time pressure. This not much of a winter warmish has the daffodils rising a bit early. I am seeing the first crocus breaking the surface. There are two more acres of dead brown sticks from last year's Lush that need to be put down.

The rest of the wild cultivated gardens needs to get mowed down like my part of the garden before the bulbs arrive.

Mulch is scheduled for The Inn this month and I stopped at a house remodel job today that is near completion and about ready for the redesigned landscape to go in. I can at least begin the process of creating the beds and getting them ready for planting.

If this warmish keeps up I will be back to my fuller than ever full schedule by the end of the month. There is no time to dawdle. I must get chopping this weekend. I hope my new long handled hedge clippers arrive tomorrow.

A list, I already need a list.

The chimney is branching out as a objet de art. It made its official debut on a T-shirt. I am the proud owner of one of the limited edition print runs. One more idea for the future Roadside Possum Stand of Mountain Elixirs and Curios along the scenic byway to supplement the meager gubmint checks of me and the Sisters during our decrepitude.

Odd isn't it feeling that need to be so busy at the beginning of February. Nice shirt.

Lisa a big reason for that is new clients keep getting added to an already full list.

The Rock Pirate asked for a chimney pic to make a shirt. Now that I see what he did no reason I can't do one to in another design. The Sisters and I are working on our product line for the Roadside Possum Stand. A T-shirt is always a good souvenir.

Love that tshirt. Not much winter here either. 2 freezes and that has been it. Pear trees in full bloom probably about 2 months early.
