This may be their best synchronized bloom ever.
I have trilliums starting to wake up too.

Living the life of gardening high on the low spot of a North Carolina mountaintop.

Lucky you. My daffodils took the worst hit ever from the weather. I have never seen anything like it. The leaves on the most exposed are all brown and few flowers. My trilliums are up be no buds on them as yet. Trout lily leaves are also showing. Spring beauties abound.
It is odd Lisa. I had some freezer burn and loss on the daffodils, but nothing like the massive carnage at Bulbhilla next door. Fortunately the survivors and late bloomers there are growing into a full bloom for the end of show and the minor bulbs are having a very good year. My Trout Lilies are at post bloom and should have made a nice seed crop and the Spring Beauty is having a super bloom.
A few Thalias are blooming but otherwise the daff season is over. Expecting temps in the 80's this week.
