Nice to meet you last night at the WAGS meeting - I hadn't checked for some time so I can see just what progress you've made on your home. 6 weeks - it could happen....
Stay well!
Hmmmm...? is right. I just met with a grading, electric trench digging, gravel guy this morning. Looking at tankless gas hot H2O heaters, wall furnaces, washer, dryers for under cabinet applications, interior doors, planning the glass block install and having my lumber purchase for trim and baseboards rejected by the building contractor.
It was a pleasure to meet you too Katie. There is sure to be some progress in 6 weeks. Completion is closer with every step.
I'm so sorry that you didn't get passed. Next time for sure.
Lola the wood for the trim is an aesthetic issue not a county inspection issue. I bought the low grade rougher cut wood, cheap, cheap, cheap. My father, the building contactor said go back and get the prime cut, smoother grade wood. It will look better at double the cost.
Would it be worth it to do a light sanding? Expense is to be considered.
