A few steps from the front porch
It has been grey and drizzling all day. I played hooky and did a little house cleaning. Finally it has started to rain rain some much needed rain in quantities sufficient to do some good. And thank you, the howling wind has stopped.
It was a nice day to set on the front porch and enjoy the awesome spectacle that only nature can provide.
I managed to plant a big sack of daffodil bulbs too.

Gorgeous! Your front porch is the perfect place to sit and enjoy!!!
Your colors are nice, both the trees and what you see blooming. It looks much like what I saw this afternoon on my walk.

Great day to sit, listen to the rain & see all that nature had to offer. Nothing like it. Porches are great.
How is it in the patio?
Siria when the wind isn't blowing the front porch is a great place to sit in the rain.
Nellie I bet you have quite a bit of the same plants as me in West Virginia. My gardening parents kept adding more and encouraged all the pretty things so the species diversity on this patch of mountain is very high.
Lola I didn't make it down to the basement patio today. I keep meaning to take a chair down there.
The combination of colors there are stunning! (I'm sure second-hand-sightings aren't nearly as impressive as those from your front porch. However, I'm thankful to see them through your lens.)
