There is a place that is a door to another world.
Wamboldtopia
Enter and you never know which way the mind will be lead.
A magical world built and sculpted in stone.
Blanketed with the changing and ephemeral life of a garden.
A world inhabited by wee invisible peoples speaking to the subconscious.
In all the little details.
And guarded by the spirits of gods.
Enter.

Sounds like a wonderful garden.
Fabulous~There's so much to see. gail
Excited to see someday. Thanks.
Perhaps I need to think about scheduling in some extra time for slow viewing.
Is that a fairy door? That looks like an absolutely magical place.
Spooky and clever.

What a fabulous place! You've shared it with us before and it is always so interesting...thanks!
Leslie Damaris is an artist who makes and sells fairy doors. Many get put in to her husbands stone work.
Nellie it is not spooky at all. Enchanting is a better word.
Siria I have been to Wamboldtopia about four or five times now.
Please allow plenty of viewing time. We were there 2 hrs? and I didn't see many of these things you are showing.
ps.
The word verification is spring. For real.
Intriguing. Love it.
Thank you Christopher for this post, you take such fabulous photos! I had a splendid time with the two of you and the garden LOVES being seen! I think next year we need to have a few smaller events to share Wamboldtopia and invite everyone to knock on the fairy doors, hehehe...
Damaris
Thank you Damaris for being so gracious and showing us Wamboldtopia. Hot tea and cookies and a cold day were the best. I bet there will be more than one celestial event in 2012 that will open the portals.
