This stone is about the size of a school bus. I'll take some green where ever I can find it at the moment.
The day has been grey with mist and light rain and I have been watching snow melt, where, how and when. The resident gardeners house and grounds melt before my cabin's portion of the mountain. I can see that a sloped portion my driveway may need attention during heavier snows. Knowing where snow lasts longer in a garden must have some affect on planting decisions. I watch and make mental notes.
