very pretty, C.C. Are those some type of wild aster?
Elizabeth that is Symphyotrichum cordifolium the Blue Wood Aster formerly known as the unknown blue aster.
That is the best closeup I have gotten of it. Still I can tell I need a tripod.
Love those mountain hollers.
