I also managed to cut the boards and apply the first coat of paint to the trim for two more windows. Even the caulking along the top of the finished windows and dabs of paint to cover the nail heads was done before the rains came. How nice of the weather to cooperate at least one day of the week.
All the trim goes on and then metal flashing above the windows before the actual siding can commence because the siding has to butt up to the trim pieces.
One board at a time.

Hi Christopher, looking good! We didn't get the hardie trim, only the siding. I'm not sure it was even available back in 2000 but it if it is as rot resistant as the siding, you should never have to replace any of it. We have already replaced some of the trim on our windows. Hooray for the sunny window! :-)

Looking good, Christopher.
Old Arthur has me--right hand. Very painful.
Yes, thanks for a reprieve if only for a short time.
Wow...that looks great! Looks like you might have another few days of sunshine before more rain/snow.
I don't know how you keep track of it all. We're having our little January heatwave right now too.
Wow, you are a determined man. Yes, it's one board at a time and wonder of wonders, it will eventually be complete! I look forward to watching it progress, as I'm sure you do!
