There was a thick fluctuating misty rain all day long. Work work was aborted before noon. Then it turned cold as fast as a short nap and all that was wet turned to ice.
The conditions are set for the gardens to be rimed. Thick fog with chunks of heavier flakes swirls through.
A garden will wait a bit longer for spring beneath a thin layer of ice.

Seems as tho it was icky all over. My home town was in bad shape. Ice, then snow. May be worse tomorrow morning. I didn't know that salt would do no good at 15 or below.
I think we got lucky....no snow and very little sleet, so no ice. Now, on to Spring!
