Frances, said...: Oh Christopher, this is such a personal journey, decorated with stones, in Hawaii and now NC, it actually brought tears to my eyes. You working with the stones, on a home of permanence for yourself, a modern day Thoreau, with really good gardening skills.

Frances I must say I am content here in the wilderness, too content really. I have learned that it is important for me to resist my hermit tendencies. I think once the cabin is done I may find more time to wander the wider region.; May 25, 2008 at 7:10 AM
