And a pretty spectacular one at that! Liatris?
Yes the purple spikes are liatris. Then there is perovskia, rudbeckia, echinacea and Shasta daisy blooming now. The bed has at least eight other flowering perennial species.
Gorgeous.
Is this yours? Are these the liatris you bought last year? If so, how did you get them to spread like that?
Sallysmom, this is a client's garden. The liatris I bought last year are not this big yet. You can see one of mine in the Bloom Day post.
