The time of vegetation is entering its final push of productivity.
The late summer denizens of the Tall Flower Meadow are starting to bloom.
It begins with Joe Pye.
While the mid summer bloomers are still in action.
Next comes the ironweed.
Goldenrods and asters of all kinds will follow. The grasses will send tall spikes into the air. It all leads to a cacophony.
Riding high above it all is Joe Pye.

Joe Pye can be a tall one. Thunder, I hear, rain to follow. 1 rainy storm already.
We have been having misty rain. Real rain would be better since it has been dry the last two weeks.
