The 'Aina Speaks

There are long stretches of no traffic on the scenic byway.

When the only thing you hear is the forest speak.

It speaks in layers and multiple languages.

If you know how to listen, it can open the door to another realm.

It speaks in trilliums.

Then there were ten.

Trilliums of many kind.

Nature is putting on a magnificent spring show. The Golden Ragwort is having a very good year.

The meadowlands expand in fullness and complexity.

All I have to do is watch and wander. I do a little plucking and fluffing as I go.

The transplanted Trillium grandiflorum have started to thrive, a good sign for multiplication.

I listen to the 'aina. A garden thrives.
