Watching

I have done some light editing of skylights and will brush the fallen leaves off the evergreens as I wander about in the blue light of a mountain's shadow.

For the most part, the Lush vanishes on its own.

I wait. I watch.

I marvel at the eerie beauty of decay. A day will come, after the first snow perhaps, when select remnants will get chopped down. The Under Garden of winter is near ready to come out. I'm not quite ready yet.

Your garden is so full of year-around inspiration.

Well thank you. It was important to me to have a year round garden. I planted with that in mind and tossed in the garden junk. I like how it is growing.

Yes, it is beginning to a lot like winter. Fun to see the under garden emerge all perky.

The Under Garden is looking perky Lisa considering I am pushing tolerance on a number of levels. A lot of the conifers and evergreens had their fresh spring growth frozen this spring, including the spruces. I was not pleased.
