Another View

I stopped along the side of the road about two thirds of the way up the mountain at one of the few places with an actual shoulder. This is what I saw.

A cow pasture crosses the road and there is an open spot in the forest.

A very short road lined with remnants of fence leads to a gate and the upper half of the pasture.

If you didn't know it was there, it wouldn't look like there was a place to pull off the road. I stopped for fall.

Hi Christopher! I would have stopped for fall too! Just beautiful. It's amazing how much green there still is in the forest. Looks like you still have several weeks of fall at least.

How old do you think the fence is?

Verification word is nosisms. I think that's when you treat people differently because of their noses.

Thanks, Christopher, for stopping & taking a pix to share with us. You'll never know what good you are doing this old heart.
Is the treeless place on far mtn. the cow pasture you spoke of?

I am so glad you stopped Christopher. I so love the mountains and all they have to show us. I live in the flatlands so I appreciate all your efforts to show us the glory of the mountains.

Siria, the wind is howling today as a front comes through. Good thing I stopped. The trees may be bare tomorrow.

Chuck the fence was built in July of 1947.

Lola I live on Hebo mountain.

I am happy to show ya'll how beautiful this place is.

Christopher, I hear there are snow flurries predicted for Monday night and Tuesday. Stay warm .... I can't wait to see the pictures of your cozy cabin in the snow. :))

Hi Christopher, the mountain is so full of mystery and beauty. The colors seem to finally be agreeable to the fact that fall is coming. Ours are still in denial.

Frances

I know Chuck has a thing about his nose so I hope he has never been a victim of unfair nosisms. I certainly have.
