Conspiracy

Today it is a whipping wind that refuses to let me get a clear crisp shot of the majestic colors of fall. It is about 52 degrees, my new warm, but that wind is putting a chill on many things.

I did manage to get the big window in way up on the back side of the loft and finish wrapping that wall except for the very tippy top before the winds really kicked in last night. I don't think I would have enjoyed that project much in a strong wind.

Down in the sunny utility meadow the Miscanthus sat still long enough for a nice shot.

There will be other sunny "warm" days with light winds before the show is over most likely.

Congrats on the window. That looked like a big job & dangerous. Love the grasses.

Wow I hope you are not still teetering up there when your parents leave the property. You better enter a blog entry every night or we'll be calling the police!
Your fall color is way ahead of us flat landers; beautiful.

Lola that was sort of the last real window. Yippee. There are still the two small plain insulated glass windows on the front of the loft. They have to be special ordered because of the strange size and shape.

Bev, that scaffolding has made the high work so much easier and less scary. My building contractor will be here until mid November. By then the exterior work will be just the Hardie Plank. For now I need to get back up on the roof and finish that off.
