A Brief Look Outside

The mon sooned at full force all day long. It seemed like a good idea to do a whole lot of nothing and have a good long afternoon nap. That was accomplished handily.

I stepped out at one point.

The Swiss cheese fog was still alive and wandering about.

The next big shock will hopefully be the sun before a diagnosed low of 41 on Tuesday morning. Forty one degrees. Lord here it comes.

You are funny Christopher. I do wish you some sunny days & not to low a dip in temp.
Still very warm here. Just had a hard downpour. That was good for the plants that I just sat out. Son mowed the side & front so the rain will help settle.
I'm trying to get my plants {like roses & magnolia} edged & mulched for the winter. Putting a little milorganite to hold them over till Spring. Slow going with this stupid leg/hip.

The monsoon has also arrived up here in Md. Yes, time for some inside jobs.

Your day sounds perfect. What else can one do when the mon is sooning all over the place? Nice photos! Weathermen lie all the time. It won't get that cold.

So beautiful. We get monsoons in AZ, but they have dried up for the year. Thank you for sharing your pictures.

I love that misty shot of St. Francis(?) under the trees. It looks more exotic than NC.

Hi Christopher! Your pictures these last few days have been great. I just love the mountains floating above the clouds! I also love to see the forest in the misty fog ~ just beautiful! The cozy cabin is sure moving along. So sorry you were just short on insulation, but it looks like you have really insulated those walls and cieling VERY well!

Not yet! They are calling for our lows to be in the 40s on Tuesday also. Hard to believe but possible. I'm not ready either. The orchids have not been dipped in liquid death yet. I loved seeing the insulation and interior of the cozy cabin. Very cozy and bright!

I know you must be in a cooler hardiness zone, but this weather seems more October then September~~Well, it is almost October, I suppose! Loveliness surrounds you there in your cozy cabin.

Christopher, how will you insulate the cabin floor? My little mosaic shed is raised and I've been wondering who in my family will volunteer to crawl under there to add the insulation!
