Spring Trees

It is getting difficult to drive to town these days. I want to pull over about every 100 yards. I managed to wait until I got to a yard.

Then I made a few stops on the way back. This is a huge Magnolia x soulangeana.

Magnolia stellata

And The Cherry Tree 2011. It is a full two weeks earlier than last year.

I sure hope winter doesn't change its mind and come back because it could cause a world of hurt.

I can see why you have a difficult time getting to town in a reasonable amount of time. One should take time to absorb the beauty around us.

It makes me wonder which is better spring or fall. Why worry though. I get both.

Oh my, the scenery is so beautiful. It would be hard to travel. I would be too busy looking. Spring & Fall are beautiful in the mtns. I use to just pull off the side of the road so I could sit & look.

Just gorgeous! I guess this means you will have to make more trips town. :)

Wow, you're even with us in Johnston County in terms of bloom time. Spring is a risky business. The cherry tree at the end of the lane is divine.
