Peak Peeping

The Sisters arrived for the week of peak fall color. Many fine suppers have ensued.

My favorite was the venison chili with black turtle beans both fresh from the garden.

All manner of fine produce has been consumed. Root crops and squash are a big part of a fall roadside vegetable garden.

We have been eating the kind of hearty plant based diet that would make all your doctors proud. If I only had a chef.

The colors of the forest kept getting more intense by the day.

Then a mighty big wind started to blow.

Out peak peeping.
