Where Have All The Crisp Edges Gone

I can understand how the crisp edges fade away from the hands and eyes of Monet and what is left but the impression.

There were a great many more detailed plant closeup pictures when this garden blog started a long time ago.

Time and the constant vibration of life continually wear away at crisp edges. Detailed closeups became harder to capture.

The essence of garden grew up in the wild. The arrangement of things mattered as much as the individual plants.

The arrangement of things. Shifting in time.

Left with an impression.

The promise of a crisp sunny Halloween Day was obliterated in the penetrating cold wet days long drizzle of the NW flow. Things could be different on the other side of the mountain. The arrangement of things. Next time it will be snow.
