One More Look At 'Jelena'

The word was snow. It was 50+ degrees and not raining. I thought I saw a piece of trash along the byway.

There was and then some. You can't drive by now and look without seeing a garden.

High on the low spot of a North Carolina mountain top the word was snow.

One more look at 'Jelena' in full bloom. What's that saying about witches' tits?

The snowdrops have awakened to full blown action. It has been warm.

The word is snow.

Then it happened in the night.

We will be having winter this week.

That is a nice lookin Jelena. We had snow too up here on the coastal plain and unfortunately a lot of conifers and evergreens may not recover from the heavy wet. Here's hoping.

Beverly a number of my conifers and evergreens are bent to the ground- the pines. It is amazing how flexible they have been when this happens - the heavy wet slop kind of snow. It is generally an annual event. Nothing has snapped yet which amazes me at times.
