At The End Of The Day

It's not as deep as it looks. It is longer and farther than you can see though.

This round of blizzard is over. The cold and snow is not finished however.

The resident gardeners house does have running water when the pressure switch is in the mood. That is not the only trouble with the system though.

All I did today was go to town for some supplies.

At the end of the day I feel a bit exhausted however.

I'll bet you are exhausted! Your new snow shovel is getting lots of use this year. I know by now you must be getting tired of all the snow, but it sure is beautiful! Hopefully you won't be too tired to work on your ceiling now that you have more suppolies.

The snow is beautiful but it can tire one out very fast. Thank goodness for the right tool for removal of the white stuff.
Sorry that the water system at the resident gardeners is not what it should be especially at this time.
I do suspect that it's not over with. Our weekend does not look good.
Spring is on it's way tho. The plants tell me that.

We will have to give you the nickname of Snowplow.

Love the ink-and-watercolor effect on pic 3!

Looks like we -- and you -- are in for more snow today. That was not in my plans, and I daresay not in yours either.

That second photo is really wonderful - the shadows make a stripe along the ridgetops, very striking. Our blizzard left us with snow that will stick around for a good long time as well; I'm kind of dreading when it melts because there will be SO much mud and most of it will end up on my kitchen floor :/

Siria thank heavens for my new big scoop shovel. I should have gotten some more lumber, but got more paint supplies instead.

No Lola it is not over and is snowing again now.

Lisa you would think by now I would just park out by the road. For some reason I don't trust the passersby around here to do that. Could get shot up.

Yep Julie it started snowing again this afternoon right on schedule. At least anothe rinch so far.

Diane did you feel the earthquake? One of the reason I opted for tile floors against some other people's judgment was because in such a confined space foot traffic would be concentrated in lanes and this filthy gardener coming and going all season long needed the most durable and least fussy floor possible. It is impossible now to keep the snow out.

We did not feel the earthquake but the next-door neighbors did. I guess we're heavy sleepers! A tile floor is a good, practical choice. We have wood floors with tough rubber-backed rugs at each door, which works well to control dirt from dogs and gardeners. My mom and grandma both have white carpet throughout their houses and I feel guilty for walking, even with shoes off.
